Jamie Sher, the founder of The Sher Group, was born into a family with a long successful history of commercial and residential development in Chicago. She spent 10 years shuttling between New York City and Los Angeles recording as an artist for A&M and Geffen Records. Her songwriting led to publishing contracts with both WarnerChappell and BMG/Sony. It was also during this time that she was offered the opportunity to learn the complexities of the Los Angeles real estate market from the Chairman of the Estates Division at Prudential Beverly Hills, one of the tops producing sales agents worldwide. Her ability to quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of the market, along with her high standard of professional service, energy, tenacity, and discretion allowed Jamie to achieve eight-figure sales just two years into her career. Her extensive network has also allowed her to facilitate international sales.

 

A graduate of New York University, Jamie actively supports LACMA, The Los Angeles Conservancy, LA Opera, American Friends of Covent Garden, The Metropolitan Opera, Farm Sanctuary and various LGBTQ charities.
